Migrating RAC Cluster to new platform

We are planning to move an existing RAC cluster (CRS, ASM, DB Homes) to new platform.  Target hardware slightly different and OS is at higher release level:

Source OS is "SunOS 5.10 Generic_141414-07 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V490".

Target OS is "SunOS 5.10 Generic_202020-11 Sun4v sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-T4".

Oracle is 11.1.0.7.

SInce clone process defined in "Oracle® Clusterware Administration and Deployment Guide 11g Release 1 (11.1)" includes relinking of executables - can this clone process be used ? Or - since OS level is higher - do we need to perform fresh install of all components (CRS, ASM, etc).  ?
