Custom Templates on Seeded Reports in EBS

Hi,

I want to get some input from you.

In Oracle EBS R12.1.3, there are number of text reports which are now available in XML Publisher. Like the old "Open Purchase Order" report is now "Open Purchase Orders Report(by Buyer) (XML)".

The templates that are linked to these seeded reports are not too user friendly, especially when you want all your reports to be in Excel.

What would your approach be to add a custom template?

Would you copy the entire concurrent program, data definition and template. Prefixing it with XX****.

Or

Would you simply add a new template to the existing data definition?
