Siebel upgrade from non unicode data to unicode data

Dear Experts,

We are planning to upgrade siebel 7.5.3.15 SEA to 8.1.1.11 SIA and oracle database 9.2.0.8 to 11.2.0.3.

Currently siebel 7.5 is using oracle 9i non unicode database so while siebel upgrade is it required to upgrade non unicode DB to unicode DB or we can proceed with non unicode database itself. Also whether we have to upgrade non unicode Oracle DB 9i to unicode  Oracle11g DB.

Please advise on this it helps us a lot in planning our upgrade path.
