Why cant test object after copied from BV in scheduler ?

Hi, my user has encountered below scenario :

I tested again just now to schedule a job and it is successfully run.

Before this I am just make a copy of the version and use it to define in the job.

Just now I deleted the version and then created it by using OMW. Deployed it onto both PY and PD environments. Then I tried to define a schedule job with the new version and it run successfully.

So my question : Is all the versions we need to use for Job Scheduler must deploy to JDEAPP system? If not, we cannot use it to define job?
