RMA transaction for an GRADE item

When we tried to do the RMA for an sales order with graded item(F4211 GRADE field) , system throwing web exception error, if I try the RMA for an sales order with an Non-Graded item, system works fine. Is there any system setup issue or RMA will not work for an sales order with graded transaction.
