Ability to enter S/N in CAPS

Hello,

Is there a way in which serial numbers can be restricted to enter only in capital letters in forms page as well as in OAF pages, when serial number geneology is alpha numeric.

Basically trying  to have this functionalty enabled in SR form. If the users enter serial number in small letters, system should prevent user from entering serial in small letters and prompt them to enter  in Capital letters.

Appreciate any direction on this.
