How do you measure product efficiency and relate it directly to open and closed work order activity

I am having a problem finding a timely resolution to work order activity standard vs actual and relating it  the general ledger activity at month end.  Currently I am sorting the f0911 by doc type and then summarizing the data.  Is there a faster way to do this?
