Why Different Quantity fields are editable in different status of batch | GME

Hi All,

In production supervisor responsibility, batch details form you can see there are many quantity columns in various status of batches.

In pending status : Original Qty | Planned Qty | Reserved Qty

in WIP/Completed/Closed status : Planned Qty | WIP Plan Qty | Actual Qty | Reserved Qty

1] In pending status, application allows you to edit/change Planned Qty - If there is any change in planned qty, you can edit this field.

2] Actual qty get updated automatically when you perform transact material (based in actual transactions).

3] Closed & Cancelled batches will not allow you to change any quantities.

My question is,

a] In WIP & Completed status, application allows you to edit/change Planned Qty as well as WIP Plan Qty - in which scenario you can change WIP plan qty? in both status?
