Is there any limit or recommendation for maximum number of diskgroups per cluster in 11g and 10g ASM

We have a cluster of 6 nodes in a Disaster Recovery Site. This cluster has ASM with external redundancy and about 60 databases.

We'd like to separate those 60 databases in 10 Diskgroups.

Is there any performance penalty related to increase in number of diskgroups managed by an ASM instance?

Will it require more OS processes per each additional diskgroup?

Is it necessary to do any additional configuration because of additional diskgroups?
