clone Oracle rac 11.2.0.3 clusterware failed

I've 2-node(rhel5.5)  11.2.0.3 cluster  .  Tried to  clone clusterware to  single node(rhel5.5) , didnt go thru.

configuration:

cluster name : orarac

node1 : rhel55oraracn1

node2 : rhel55oraracn2

OS : rhel 5.5

cluster name : clonerac

node1: rhel55clonerac1

OS : rhel 5.5

Steps :

1. copied grid home from  rhel55oraracn1 to  rhel55clonerac1 using linux tar

2. Successfully executed  $GI/clone/bin/clone.pl on rhel55clonerac1

3. Successfully executed "$GI/crs/config/config.sh -silent -responsefile /oracle/home/crs.rsp  -ignoreSysPrereqs -ignorePrereq"

4. Executed "$GI/root.sh", failed. I see following error in root_rhel55clonerac1_<yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mi-ss>.log

     /oracle/sw/grid/11.2/perl/bin/perl -I/oracle/sw/grid/11.2/perl/lib -I/oracle/sw/grid/11.2/crs/install /oracle/sw/grid/11.2/crs/install/rootcrs.pl execution failed
