Bank Branches in Multi-Org

Hi,

We have a multi org setup. Our non US org has created a vendor/supplier bank and bank branch which is local to them and used a Branch Number and Branch Type as ABA.

In US org, we also have a requirement to pay the same vendor so wanted to create the same Bank and Branch but with Branch Type as SWIFT. US org also used the same Branch Number info as non US org used and the system keeps blocking the creation of this bank saying the Bank Branch already exists.

My question is, is it not possible to create a same Bank and Bank Branch in different Organizations?
