Error adding new attribute

We upgraded to version 11.1.2.3 of Planning back in the summer but had to disable the ADF functionality due to performance issues.  Haven't had any issues until recently when I attempted to add a new attribute on one of our Sparse dimensions.  I receive a "Error occurred while processing this page" when I go to save the new attribute.  We do have a Planning application in our test environemtn that does not have ADF disabled and I do not get an error when attempting to add a new attribute.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?
