R12 Gather Schema Stats - New Functionality

Hi,

We were wondering if anyone has applied standalone patch 16410424:R12:FND.B to their production system and utilised the new Gather Stats functionality? If so have you seen a good reduction in runtime for Gather Schema Stats and a performance improvement for users carrying out day to day EBS tasks or running concurrent jobs?

We have applied this patch on our test system and the gains have been significant - our runtime has decreased by more than 70% through using a combination of auto sample size, gather auto, degree of parallelism, etc. The only thing we have been unable to test so far is a load on the system to replicate the behaviour of our live system.
