Best practice to backup local Exadata file systems to ZFS storage appliance

Is there any built in functionality that could backup Exadata compute node filesystems (local file systems such as oracle home, grid home etc) onto the ZFS storage appliance? I understand oracle secure backup can be used, but looks like that requires a separate license.
