V6R1 and V7R1 Customers upgrading to A9.x

If you are performing a JD Edwards World upgrade on a V6R1 or i7.1 box, there is an IBM PTF listed below that you should apply before running upgrades based on your OS level.  IBM has delivered at some point a PTF which sometimes breaks file conversion on multi-member files during upgrades. 

The IBM PTF for V6R1 is SI52438

The IBM PTF for V7R1 is SI52439
