Changing AR and GL constants

Hi,

A quick Q. One of our client is contemplating changing AR and GL constants as below, and would like to know implications of the same and/or any safeguards that could be taken:

  1. Changing inter-company method’s during usual business (hub to configured hub or detail); and
  2. Changing the Offset Method in AR Constants (control value).  Changing from B- Offset per Batch (The system creates one offset for each batch of transactions by account) to Y – One Offset per Document (The system creates one offset per transaction by account.)

Any guidance in this matter is much appreciated. Thank you.
