Autovue - generating BOM

Hi,

I like to have your inputs.

We have a requirement to read the Engineering drawing (both 2d & 3D model), and able to create the Bill of Material.

In my initial analysis from Autovue (demo desktop version-Electro-mechanical professional), there is an option to generate Bill of Material.

Please can you clarify,

- How do we associate the Part Names with reference to the Components used in the drawings & also Component specifications like the dimensional sizes, thickness & etc.,

- What applications required in order to achieve this functionality, the Bill of Material needs to be created in Oracle ERP.
