CNC, DB and Operating System - JDE1 (MOSC)

Vertex Libraries iSeries

We are using JDE Payroll 9.0.  Tools 9.1.3.3.   When changing Vertex to point to new Libraries on the iSeries (using P7308), do I need to just log out and back in or do I need to bounce E1 Services on the iSeries?   Or is there some other "clear cache" function that would work also?  I hate to have to bounce E1 Services and knock down the users.
