Web services for AP Invoice inbound-Integrated SOA

We are in 12.1.3 version. Checked for interfaces in Integrated SOA gateway responsibility for AP invoice creation inflow and outflow for log messages. We are getting invoice input as xml.

We found that only open interfaces and xml gateways are available.

Can somebody help,how efficiently we can use

1)How to use XML gateway

2)How to use Open interfaces

some document would help.
