EBS 12.2 and forms patch 16271876 painted customer into corner

IHAC that applied the following patches to his 10.1.2.3 ORACLE_HOME, per an earlier version of “Note:1594274.1-Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2: Consolidated List of Patches and Technology Bug Fixes”:

  14703419
16207165
16241466
16271876

He is on JDK6.0.

Later, Footnote 6 was added to this note which has an ominous warning that the patch should not have been applied:

  “Footnote 6 - This fix (16271876) is only required on Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 installation using JDK 7.0
and must not be applied when JDK 6.0 is used.
Refer to My Oracle Support Knowledge Document 1530033.1 for additional information on using JDK 7.0.”

QUESTION1a - What problems might the customer see being on JDK6 and having applied 16271876?
