Disabled Triggers

We have 104 disabled triggers.  Knowing there are a number of possible reasons for these becoming invalid, patching, upgrades, customizations, etc.. We are hoping to find a way to determine the following:

How it was disabled.  What is each trigger's purpose.  Can we or should we enable some or all of them.

I will post a couple of them to see if anyone can give a best process to answer the above questions.  I can then take the process methodology to the rest of the disabled triggers.
