OEM 12 Cloud Control cpu utilization metric vs AIX nmon

in Enterprise Manager Generic (MOSC) Question

Hi all,

We have noticed that Oracle Cloud Control 12c (12.1.0.2.0) always shows a Host cpu consumption smaller than AIX nmon. It happens in all our AIX hosts.

From Cloud Control, we go to a particular host and we open Monitoring-->CPU Details and we click on link in the first graphic, CPU Utilization (%). It shows an average value of around 30% (for the last 24 hours) while the equivalent AIX nmon shows around 60% average.

We are collecting metrics for CPU utilization each minute in both, Cloud Control and AIX nmon. The graphics are similar, the spikes and valleys match, but spikes are always smaller in Cloud Control.
