applying archive log of 10g to 11g after upgrade

I have a 10g database running on solaris 5.10 and would like to duplicate it on staging area and upgrade to 11R2. my question is that after the upgrade I would like to know if I can still apply the archive logs generated by the 10g database running as production. this 10g database is the same that I have made a duplicate and also upgraded.
