Notifying Requesters about errors in Sourcing Workbench

Good afternoon,

We are on PeopleSoft 9.2, PeopleTools 8.53

We are trying to research if there is any functionality to notify a requester of any errors in the Sourcing workbench?

Here is the Business Scenario that we are running into:

1. Special Request req is made - they forget to add a supplier (ePro does not consider a required field, even though it will err out in the Sourcing workbench)

2. Req is approved

3. PO_AUTOSOURCE is ran

4. Navigate to Sourcing Workbench

5. View the Req is in error

6. Reset and purge to have the Requestor add in a supplier

The issue is, is that once we view the req as in error, our buyers have to manually look up that persons email, and tell them it is in error. Is there any way for us to notify the requester of the error so that they can fix it?
