Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. PS 9.2: Does Close short workbench also closes Contract POs?

Hi,

We have a contract PO for an item with qty =minimum qty of the item on Supplier Contract.

We have received less qty from supplier and would like to know if we can close short that PO as well.

If we try changing the qty on PO, it gives us an error saying that PO qty cannot be less than minimum order qty.

I tried using close short process to see if it helps reducing PO qty to be equal to receipt qty but nothing happened.

Am I doing something wrong or is PO short process not designed to close short PO with item qty less than minimum order qty of contract?
