MWA Management Commands Through Telnet

In our environment we have no way to knowing which Users are connected to MWA Telnet, gv$session doesn't have any information related to user_name.

From telnet server we can check established connections using netstat | grep <PORT> but still we cannot identify which user is connected or how to kill that particular user's session, due to the fact that when they try to login the session gets hung saying "Connecting..."

Recently I found that connecting to the mobile port + 1 we could send commands to get more details from telnet server.

"The server management tool is a TCP/IP server listening on port [mobile port + 1]. For example, if we have a mobile server running on port 1056, then the server manager is running on port 1057. In order to work with the server manager, we will telnet to the server manager port and issue a command. After issuing the command, we need to hit Enter to get the response."

Howdy, Stranger!
