11.2 OGG replicat support for HCC Compression on Exadata

Hello Experts,

We have requirement in our Environment to use Replicat to apply DML on HCC Compression Enabled tables .

Presently , The Source(extract) is running on non-exadata machine for table which doesn't have any compression , We are replicating the data to Exadata machine to a Un-Compressed table.

We would like to if we can enabled HCC compression on the Target side(exadata). So that we can make use the Exadata HCC feature to reduce the table size etc on the Target Side .

1. Will the Replicat work on HCC Compressed table , We have Classic Replicat presently .

2. Do We need to have any performance impact on the replicat when dealing with HCC compressed tables.
