RMAN-06167 Error

Backups have been working fine recently and all completing successfully via EMC Networker.

The last 2 Level 1 backups have completed successfully according to OEM but have the error RMAN-06167 "already connected". This error appears at the end of the log and no other errors in the log apart from this.

Oracle itself seems happy as OEM reports Completed but the backup application is reporting an error.

The RMAN script has not been changed recently and has been working fine every night last week.
