Order swapping in discrete manufacturing

In textile industry performing order based manufacturing, component issued for one discrete job is swapped to another discrete job during the production run, even semi finished goods are swapped between orders.

For Example: Two Jobs bearing number ab1 and ab2 have been created and separate routings and BOM have been created for the jobs. First three operations are similar for both the jobs. Job ab1 is released earlier and components are released for that particular job. During the production run, it is decided that Job ab2 is a high priority task and should be performed earlier.
