Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. What does it do?

Over the weekend, zstatd filled up the root filesystem on one node of my Solaris 10 VCS cluster.

We know it was zstatd because restarting it freed up the space on the filesystem.

I can't find ANY information on this process online. Does anybody know what it is, what it does? Do I need it?
