How to set Initial Value/Default Value through OAF Personalization

Is there a way to set the property for Initial Value of a date field through OAF page personalization? I can go into personalizations and Hardcode the date at Site level and make it display when I go into the page, but I need to set it with a view attribute so that the appropiate date displays according to the value in the VO, instead of one hard code date for all. What is the syntax to set this Initial Value at Site level (or any level).
