Preferred Credentials setup for AppsUsers- getting "Subclass should implement this"

in Enterprise Manager Generic (MOSC) Question

I watched the video and was successful with Database credentials - now I go to setup credentials so that I can patch Oracle Ebusiness suite.

I do not have default credentials setup.

I selected AppsUserCredsSet.

When I go to enter Target Preferred Credentials (new).  I get an error msg on save - that says Error: Subclass should implement this.

What does that mean?  Where am i going wrong?
