AGIS implementation without Inter-Company Segment

Hi Folks,

We are planning to upgrade 11i to R12 and intend to implement AGIS but we don't have any segment of inter-company in our existing COA structure in 11i.

The same will be upgraded in R12 , Can we still implement Advance Global Inter-Company in R12 , if yes, what would be pros or cons ?
