Missing transaction number in Oracle AR
Recently, we have found that one of the transaction number was missing in Oracle AR. We are using Oracle automatic sequence numbering instead of Document Sequencing.
Could someone please help me understanding this issue, why this issue occurs and how it can be prevented in future ?
Also, Is there any way to check what happened to a particular transaction, which is now missing ? we cannot even see it in the "Find Transactions" window.
No data is found, when we query from back end using the same transaction number.
I am assuming that "Audit Report by Document Number" will not help in this case, as document sequencing is not used at all.
