Risks in directly updating Quantity fields in converted PO

Hi All,

We are doing PO conversion from 11i to R12.

In this case, we are facing a problem with the partially open purchase orders as this is not supported in the interface.

Hence we are planning to do base table update.

Could someone suggest the risks involved in directly updating QUANTITY_RECEIVED, QUANTITY_CANCELLED and QUANITY_BILLED in PO_LINE_LOCATIONS table and also any other fields/tables we need to update to maintain data integrity?
