Order line is not pick released in 11.5.8

Hi ,

We are trying to pick release an order line in 11.5.8. The Pick Release program is completing normally but the order line is still not in Picked status.

Once we update the order line quantity or request date ( i.e. any update to the order line is performed) then line is being picked.

Not sure why this is happening. Could anyone suggest what should be done to pick release it without any update?
