I am unable to change the Salesrep Resource of Category 'To be hired' to 'Other'. The Category is g

During Salesperson creation the category type 'to be hired' was selected.  Their start date has past and now, the category type should be changed to 'Other'.  Also, when trying to select the Salesperson name on a Sales Order, this name does not show in the list of values.
