Defining a new App in FDQM

We have a new FDQM installation and I am also new to Hyperion products , So my question is very basic.

I am trying to create a app in FDQM and not sure what to provide the details in the DB tab. How to figure out what is the DB service name and type of DB (SQL/Oracle) etc.
