Server reboot

Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing great.   Need help in understanding few.

3 nodes RAC cluster running multiple instances,  if we have to reboot the server do we have to first stop all the RAC resources in the server or can be go ahead just start initiating the reboot of server which automatically aborts all the running instances in the server.

Is stopping of init.d will cause all the resources to stop and then we proceed with reboot of the server???
