How does IB handle if the items are non serialized and what would be the major concern areas ?

On a high level below is the requirement.Business wants to implement IB, Service Contracts along with OM.

Items are manufactured in WIP and will be moved to FG Sub Inv (IB instance is created for that quantity and quantity is updated for that instance when further items are moved)
Order is created and shipped ( User does not need to Provide the instance number in OM Installation details )
IB Creates the instance for the shipped quantity along with warranty ( Warranty coverage level is the instance with the Quantity)
