Approval Process in OPM Product Development

Hello All - The customer has the following approval related scenarios -

1. Formula Entered by Lab and Submitted for Approval ---> R&D approves / Rejects

2. Recipe Entered by Lab and Submitted for Approval ----> Marketing Approves ----> Next Approval by Production----> Next approval by R&D

If any one rejects the Recipe in that approval chain, then it is rejected.

Question - Can this approval scenarios be modeled within OPM without using Approval Management Engine (AME)? If yes, then how.
