Order Fulfillment - Pick Release and Ship Confirm

In one of the exception scenariso - we maintain inventory which is not accurate in Oracle for various reasons.

The fulfillment of orders requires inventory to be shipped from an inventory location which is not on oracle.  When an order is booked and pick release is done, the pick list , we are sending thru an outbounding communication mechanism to the warehouse indicating the items they need to ship.  Once they ship and send the advice to us, is there a mechanism or APIs where we can get the ship confirmation done by oracle.
