Does anyone have any information on an API for performing inter-org transfers in Inventory

We are performing an inventory reorganization and need to perform a mass inter-org transfer of all the transactable on hand from one inventory org to another.  I am told there is an API for this but I have been unable to locate it.  Any help would be appreciated.  I would be especially interested in any users who have performed this.
