Asset Cost Account in Asset Categories

Dear all,

i created an asset categories. after all step are finished i realized that value in asset cost field is wrong. i can't change it because the field are already read-only. i try to delete it and create a new one but it cannot also, popup message appear "APP-OFA-48169: You cannot delete this record because it is already in use.

is there any other way to change the asset cost value in asset categories ?
