Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Error when trying to enable Average Balancing (Accounting Setup Manager)

Hi all,

I'm setting up a new ledger in a new implementation. However when i'm trying to enable Average Balancing i get the following error;

'The Net Income account must be non-postable. Enter a different account or disable posting for this account using the GL Accounts form'

I've disabled posting to the Natural Account value (Segment4). What might be the issue? I'm on version 12.1.3
