Siebel 8.2.2 Client install fails with MS Office related error

Hello,

I am trying to install Siebel Client and it fails at very first step where it verify the environment.

I don't have MS Office installed, and when I run Siebel client installation, the wizard fails where it tires to verify MS Word install on my machine.

I can recall that earlier it used to give me 'warning' messages which I used to ignore, but now it shows me pop up error window with no error message. The wizard shows 'Error 2' & 'Error 3' in popup and the install fails.

Is it mandatory to have MS Office installed when you are installing Siebel Client?
