Common identifier field for line items created by UpgradeAssetoQuote prcoess(PromotionWebservice)

How to identify the line items created through upgrade process in case the Quote had already multiple line items.
For ex.A Quote has three line items. We then invoke upgrade process on an asset using the same quote through UpgradeAssetoQuote prcoess(PromotionWebservice). In that case, new line items with action code='Add' and Action Code='Delete' will be created. Question is how to identify the line items which were created as part of the Upgrade Process.
