oracle errors encountered during every weekend in the application logs

Hello,

Belwo are the logs and the problem is that these errors are only witnessed during the weekend no in the weekdays and on weekend the backup runs but I don't think this can cause these errors.

Error Message: Oracle database error 12170: ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occurred

Error at: 3/22/2014 2:05:51 AM

Error Message: Oracle database error 2068: ORA-02068: following severe error from BOMS.WORLD

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

Unable to connect to the server "amdc-oradbprod-ux05.amdc.mckinsey.com:1547/amtivdp.world". Check that the server is running and that you have access privileges to the requested database.
