EM12c Custom Certficate for Securing OMS with SLB

Hello,

I'm running OEM 12.1.0.3.0 with 2 OMSs. I have a F-5 load balancer configured for use with the OMSs. However, I'm not able to re-secure the OMS and agents because of a wildcard character in the certificate. I've been told by Oracle support that the wildcard in the cert is not supported so now I'd like to use a certificate without wildcard but can't seem to find the right instructions. I've referenced the following notes:
