How to schedule a report with Excel output

I would like to schedule a shipment schedule report to send to users in Excel spreadsheet format. For some reason OTM is sending out the email as a link rather then attachment.

If I run the report and have it email to myself it comes with the attachement (security set to 2 on report), if I schedule the report the email has a link to the report.

Is there away to configure OTM to attach the report. PDF format works on schedule reports but not RTF or EXCEL.
